Takeaway ordering from your own link, with no commission

Every restaurant gets its own takeaway page. Guests give a name and phone number, choose dishes, and receive a token. They see when the order is ready and pay at the counter when they collect.

How it works

  1. 1Turn on takeaway ordering in Settings and print the Takeaway QR card.
  2. 2A guest orders from the link and gets a token number.
  3. 3You accept or reject the order, or let it go straight to the kitchen.
  4. 4The guest sees Ready, collects, and pays at the counter.

What you get

  • Your own address, not a marketplace listing, so guests are your customers
  • Accept, reject with a reason, or auto-accept, set separately from table orders
  • Token number and live status for the guest
  • A declined order leaves no ghost token on your board
  • Limits on repeat orders from one connection to stop spam
  • A paid takeaway stays on the board until it is handed over

Questions about takeaway ordering

Is there a commission on takeaway orders?

No. Orders come from your own link and guests pay you at the counter, so TabFlat takes no cut.

Can guests pay online?

Not yet. Guests pay at the counter when they collect. Online payment is planned and will settle to your own gateway account.

How does a guest know their order is ready?

Their order page updates live and shows Ready, come and collect, with their token number.

Can I turn takeaway ordering off?

Yes. It is a switch in Settings, and the platform can also disable it per restaurant.
